About Me

I received my B.S. in Biological Sciences from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. Since then, I’ve spent my time working to conserve endangered plants, birds, and salmonids along California’s coast. In fall 2020 I started my first year as a master's student at San Francisco State University's (SFSU) Estuary and Ocean Science Center in the RIPTIDES program. Here I am working in Dr. Sarah Cohen’s lab studying Seagrass Wasting Disease in eelgrass populations around the San Francisco Bay. One of my favorite marine organisms is the gumboot chiton!
